It was overall very nice. My room was rather small compared to the European hotels but I am always impressed how space management is mastered in Japan. There was everything I needed and was very comfortable. There was a kettle and some coffee/tea in the room. I asked not to clean my room every day and I was getting a bag with a new towel and a bottle of water hanging on the door handle instead.

We loved the location of Shimbashi if you want to experience Showa era Japan. Surrounded by the modern high rises of Ginza, Shiodome, and the Toranomon Hills, Shimbashi is a fun and lively blast out of the past. The room was quite small and tiny but nicely outfitted. The 12th floor onsen was wonderful and provided a great contrast to the activity below. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, elevators very fast, and the small rooms were very well-soundproofed.

The hotel is in a great location with being 5-10 minutes from Shinbashi Station, so it is easy to get from one part of Tokyo to the next. Additionally, there are restaurants and small stores nearby the hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped arrange transportation of our luggage and helped get our lost items on the train back. The room is decent size for Tokyo standards. We had a king bed, with a sitting bench, a desk and a small walk way. There was a bit of room for the kids to walk around. By no means is it the size of a hotel room in other countries. The bathroom was snug, but had enough space for the essentials.

The hotel is in a great location for getting out and about. In the evening, the area comes alive even more with plenty of small bars and cafes to explore. We were even fortunate enough to experience some type of event (didn't catch exactly what it was) where the streets had been closed off and lots of stalls and local dancing etc. Plenty of shops in the area - 7/11 etc for getting those all important necessities. The breakfast was fine - just something to start you off on the day. No real queues when we went - always able to get a table. Staff were very good and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, room compact, but well appointed. Location is close to two train stations, making it easy to get around. It was a little confusing at first because the guest rooms are on floors 2-10, with the front desk and restaurant on the 11th floor.

A stylish and comfortable boutique hotel located within walking distance of Shimbashi station (Karasumori exit). The quiet and spacious room on the 8th Floor included a large comfy bed, sitting area, desk, and small table. The onsen and sauna are a very nice amenity and wasn't crowded at all, depending on time of day. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide assortment of Japanese, Chinese, and Western items. Staff, both at reception and dining room, was friendly and helpful.

The location is really good. Lots of dining options around and only 5 mins from the Shimbashi station. I like the day bed in the room which turns out to be quite comfy to sleep on. (We have a corner twin room and while it technically sleeps two adults and two kids, the beds are small.).
